I have been away a long time from here and trading in general, but in the last few months I have been getting back into things and back slowly into the swing of trading.

Hi all
Apologies to those who had an interest in how I was fairing as the course took a huge amount of time both on and off the trading floor and left me with little energy or time to post to IT - sorry for that. This post is designed as a catch up to let everyone know how I got on, what I learned and what needs to be "unlearned", and how I will be taking things forward. Hope it will be of interest:
Firstly the how I got on - well I found the course extremely good...

WOW where did those two weeks go!
Really enjoying the course at the Prop Firm, the program at the moment is to prepare for the day by reading current news etc, trading on sim using price action alone using the ladder or DOM, and classroom education on market profile and normal technical analysis methods finished off with one final session on price action trading on sim.
Actually the trading on price action alone (no charts or market profile) is really interesting as...

Well Monday brings on the second week of the 12 week course at the Prop Firm and as promised I am updating the community on what has been going on.
Inevitably the first week was very much a basics introduction week and was mostly around the history and basics of markets and trading, most of which I already knew courtesy of the Informed Trades University
What was more of interest was some real demonstrations of the edges any professional trader has over the retail world....
