    Biography
I started trading penny stocks in 2006, for extra money. I lost about $1000.00 or so and stoped. after reading a book by Toni Turner (a beginers guide to trading online) I learned enought to make about $5000.00 from 2008 to 2009. In the past 3 months came accross the Forex markets and began to trade it. (Like most beginers I lost money. "p.s. just over leveraged and blowing out my margin on the pull backs and not full understanding that the treand is my friend untill it bends.

I have now learned my lesson and have come up with my pesonal safe simple trading style, and finally I'm making money! Thanks to informed trades and the fxcm training.

    Hi Larry,

There were technical issues with the platform today. If you had a stop loss on the trade and the market trades through it on Sunday at the open it will be executed. If you're concerned about slippage due to the platform being down or you wanted to close the trade while the platform was down, please open a trade audit for us to review the trade Audit Form

We have also updated the website Trading Station Update Center at FX Trading Station Support Portal with details.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey, Larry... No- it's definitely your link to FXCM. I'd get on the line to them ASAP (they've traditionally been very good at helping me with issues and, if need be, taking orders (closeing positions etc.), over the phone. This is the VERY reason I learned to ALWAYS put on SL's and Targets regardless of swing/scalp/manual trades! Good luck!

    Hi Larry.

There are several possibilities to account for this and, not knowing how your system analyzes for draw down, I can say which.

First, it could be a mistake...

It could be that is is reporting the ticks that moved against your position during the trade. You know: say you enter at short at 100. The move went down 10 points, then up 12 points (an intra-trade drawdown of 2 points), then down 15 points where you close as a winner.

I hope this helps. Let me know when you find what actually happened to cause that.

And I hope you and your family are healthy and happy,

    Mike

Is Trading Gambling? ( after reading Tekmnd Blog )

Lots of people think that trading is gambling, especially the Christian Community, of which I am a member of. So I get flack by some of them. What I try to do is educate them on the facts, by pointing out the difference.

I like to start by going to the dictionary and getting the definition of each word....

4 hr, chart looks real good to me. Taking a long swing trade.
So lets see, what happens?

most of that time I set my stops to tite, and they get hit. I just don't like to losing money when I don't have to. If stop is hit I will lose about $1.55, or so.

May take some time for vid to process, on utube.
