So, as discussed here: http://www.informedtrades.com/blogs/...lly-begin.html, I have been anxiously awaiting the next bull-run on the JPY pairs as the JPY gets hammered.
I have done some Technical Analysis on the 7 Major JPY-based pairs and have decided to get specific on my entries as the time for accumulation closes-in this month.
I'm not posting too much detail just yet- I simply wanted to get this written down somewhere......

This looks like it could be a great short entry on GBP/CHF.
This is a classic False-Break off Resistance (March Supply, WR1, MR1), and the 61.8 Fib of the entire down move from the beginning of the year.
Looking to enter on a small retrace AFTER the Daily candle closes, around 1.4620'ish.
R&R would come in at a great 1:3+ using just above WR1 and Monthly Pivot as SL/Target respectively.

So, for the 1st time since the initial trade on 12/21/2011, all positions at the InstaForex acct. are closed.
With a total initial starting balance of 130, the Fund now stands at $322- a 248% gain in 3.5 months (or 1,000% APR LOL!
)
Anyway, Simit has been kind enough to establish a new account with Oanda and as soon as a few details have been worked-out, I will be trading from there.
It is unclear if this account will be transitioned and investors...
With a total initial starting balance of 130, the Fund now stands at $322- a 248% gain in 3.5 months (or 1,000% APR LOL!

3/21/2012 - EUR/USD Short Opportunity on the Daily?!
I'll preface this post by acknowledging I'm not sure where the dollar wants to go at the moment...
At times, it shows great propensity to want to take-off but the USD-based pair charts aren't necessarily all singing that tune.
At any rate, from a technical perspective, I noticed what COULD be a shorting opportunity on EUR/USD tomorrow (3/22).
The pair is in an overall downtrend but yesterday's Pinbar...
I'll preface this post by acknowledging I'm not sure where the dollar wants to go at the moment...

3/5/2012 - USD/JPY FINALLY Going to Make its Turn...
So, I have intentionally avoided this pair for nearly a year as PA has tried to find direction. Finally, PA has tipped its hand as a quick Ichimoku study reveals where it's next big move will be.
As the attached chart indicates, there will no doubt be a re-test after a little more run-up (maybe even as high as 85'ish), but after that, I will be looking for long opportunities probably down around the 80's.
