Last thursday marked the 70th anniversary of the Shelling of Mainila. The Soviet Union staged an artillery strike in the Soviet border village of Mainila and claimed the shots were fired from the Finnish side of the border in order to get a casus belli and to cut diplomatic relations with Finland. Four days later the Winter War started as the Soviet Union began its invasion.
Later on, there has been some discussion on whether the Winter War could have been avoided and the general view...

I've been meaning to write a blog entry for quite some time now but I've been busy with my studies lately. However, I finally found the time to do it, so here goes. If you have been wondering why the InformedTrades mission statement is what it is and why we share knowledge so opely and without a pricetag on it, this one's for you so keep on reading.

Hey folks!
I've been off the radar for quite some time now and I thought I'd just check in to let you guys know that I'm still alive and kickin'!

Hey people.
I made a blog entry a few days back but I had it locked down until I got a confirmation from Dave that he's ok with it, so before I had a chance to unlock it, it had fallen off the New Blog Posts -list.
So, I figured I'd post this new entry, just to make sure you guys don't miss it.
