Bloomberg: Stocks in Europe, Asia Fall; MSCI World Index Drops for 5th Day - The MSCI World Index fell 1.7 percent to 887.14 at 12:57 p.m. in London, Europe’s Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Index sank 2.5 percent, and Standard & Poor’s 500 Index futures slipped 0.7 percent as oil prices dragged down commodity producers and Alcoa Inc. said demand for aluminum may weaken.
