Many of you know I respect Kathy's views and used to re-post many of her comments, but due to other commitments of late I have not been so active, however I had to post this one.

Previously I have traded news on a reactive scalp basis, but Kathy proposes a really common sense approach to proactive news trading that I thought was really good.

Hi all

As I get back into the swing of things I thought I would restart posting news items I see as being important.

So as the Chinese start to takeaway - or at least limit the ability of their Banks to lend fearing an assets bubble, I thougt this article is quite interesting.

I would never advocate taking a position based on one fundamental fact - but personally I like to keep my ear to the ground as it can at least give a bias on trend direction....
