let's continue watching the usd/eur + usd/gold developments closely as the gold price has huuuuuuge problems to break out over the $950 barrier (and stay there :-). is there any additional usd weakness needed?

... well, without strong gold/silver price wouldn't my stocks perform very well

    Hi Jaro,

I am catching you blog posts occasionally. What is your trading time frame ? Like if you buy a gold stock, how long would you hold it ?

    Cheers,

    Noob

    hi noob,

i have 2 separated accounts: an investment account (95% of overall funds) + a highly leveraged CFD trading account (5% of funds)

    a) my strategy 4 investing:

what a coincidence! i've answered 'your' time frame/trading strategy question few days ago to forexer in a comment in my blog post concerning my strange behaviour on the markets in the last few months (see the whole post here or just the particular answer in my comment Posted 07-16-2009 at 11:52 PM).

.... when 2 sell? well, i'm really waiting till the DJIA will 'cost' about 1 or 2 ounces gold. there is a corresponding 100-years-chart concerning the dow-gold-ratio included in my profile photos (or here, btw my corresponding comments on that indicator filled also a regular blog post), so you could easily draw a line to see the time when it will happen
    ....

    b) my strategy 4 trading: i'm trying to trade some commodities with variable success. here i hold my positions from few hours (if my stop loss limit was hit immediately) to few weeks/months

    c) ??? if u still wanna read more about my approach 2 financial markets, u would prolly better read my former 'mission statement' from my old blog ... well, there is also a link 2 my current positions in my investment portfolio included
jaro gruber ;-): trading, investing, working? what will i provide/document here? why i'm doing this?

    thx,
    jaro.
