Thanks for the resource Jaro and have a great trip.

Heyya Jaro,

I know that you're probably going to get this message by the time you get back, but I hope you enjoy Egypt. I really, really do enjoy traveling. And Africa is one of the continents I have yet to reach. I hope to make it to Africa in 2009 (Kenya, if it calms down), with a side trip to your neck of the woods (actually, I'll be in Most, Czech Republic visiting friends). So I'll be thinking of you. If you have any pictures you can post in an [ i m g ] type format, I'd love to see them.

Thumbs up holidays ...

hi airelon,

you're right, i've got this message by the time i'm back .

the egyptian internet cafes had such slow web-connections that nobody spent there more time as necessary needed. i've just once checked my banking account for appointed money transfers and my trading account with the few open positions whether my formerly entered stop-loss-orders or my limit-buy orders have been fulfilled or not ...

i'm sorry, i do not have a picasa web photo album or the like yet (i'm too busy with my job, trading, studying the commodity markets, posting some finance + holiday stuff (EGYPT) @ my website http://www.jarogruber.de/, ...), but maybe i will find some time on the weekend and send few pictures to your e-mail account , ok?

btw, do you know that most is (by car) just 3 or 4 hours away from munich? if you want to, you could stay also few days at my home and visit some parts of bavaria - just send me a message few weeks before your trip to europe to make sure that i'm at home

so long,
j.

hi dave,

thanX for reading my website so carefully .

i've met jim rogers at an 'investors-dinner' last february in the rooms of munich stock-exchange. it was organized by the publishing company which publishes his books in german language, so you could also buy all his books there .

the event was limited to 40 people and it cost 159 euros. there was some food (buffet), drinks, a very interesting presentation by jim about global economy + financial markets (china, commodities, japan, ron paul, oil, renewable energy, FED, inflation, USD, ...) + many other issues (his 2 journeys around the world, his daugther(s?), his move to singapore, ... the #1 dream of the most people is probaly to make a journey around the world. as for me it's really one of my biggest dreams/goals , ...).

there was also a long questions+answers session and after that 'official' part there was a lot of time to let him sign some books, take pictures, ask 'private' questions by a glass of wine .... a nice evening, isn't it?

good night (it is already so late in europe),
j.

p.s. i've upload some pictures 2 picasa: http://picasaweb.google.com/jarogru

Hey Jaro,

Thats pretty neat that you got to meet him in such a small setting and I would say well worth the price of 159 Euros.

Looks like you had a nice trip to Egypt there with some great pictures of the pyramids, thanks for posting those.

Best Regards,
Dave
