Market Snapshot Europe Mid-Session 18 August 2008

The USD has fallen heading into early trade for the new week. Some are saying that a pause is only natural given the extent of its recent gains. Furthermore, the Georgian situation colud be cooling with a Russian withdrawal expected (once again) in the next day or so. Also the approach of hurricane Fay to Florida has been causing some nervousness.
