Default Agriculture Stocks

Hello,

I been watching the Ag stocks (POT, IPI, MOS) and while they are trending down they have little runs. But with the rates staying the same, I would expect volatility to continue and these stocks to go up. I believe IPI orginally opened at $47 (back in April) and now at $45 I think its a deal both in the long term (2+yrs) and short term (a week or two).

Thoughts?

Bull,

This sector is one of my favorites, especially AGU and POT. I am a longer term trader, so the temporary run ups do not fit but style. Once they form short term bottoms I plan to hop back in.

Inflation makes for good trading, no?

traderavon,

All the usual disclaimers apply here: I am not providing trading advice and everyone is responsible for their own decisions. This is simply my opinion.

The spinning top on yesterday's daily chart and the huge volume make it look like the stock desperately wants a breather. That said, I always like to see a double bottom or stairstep bottom before re-entering. My personal approach is to sit back and wait for confirmation of support.
