To echo what Shaun has said here it is important to not only have an exit plan in place before entering a trade, but also to understand the emotions behind live trades so you can better handle them when they come along. For some free video lessons on these topics I recommend checking out module 5 of my free basics of trading course, module 2 of Airelon's Intro to Trading Course and Lance Begg's course on how to exit trades.
