Sawyer,

It's hard to tell how much you would have been slipped without watching the real time market conditions when you traded. Sometimes you get the exact price, sometimes you get slipped a few pennies. It depends.

Also, $10 commissions are a bit high. If you're going to be daytrading, meaning that your account balance must exceed $25,000+ to avoid the pattern daytrader rule, you should be paying about a penny a share. Keep in mind that the minimum order size is usually $1. Brokers with that setup are Tradestation Securities and Interactive Brokers.
