Default Personal Questions

Hi Dave.

First, THANK you for your time and experience you share with us.

I just watched your trailing stop video and I finally understand what its for and how to do it! I have scottrade, watched their videos, talked to my local broker, and you are the only one who actually was able to explain it too me so I'm not scared or confused. Thanks

Secondly, I can't find out much about you. Are you a broker? Did you go to college to learn what you share with us? I'm sure you have this info posted somewhere, I just never found it.

Third, can you set up a list of videos you would recommend for beginers.
I guess what I'm asking is, your recommendations on where to start and what video you recommend as being #1, 2, 3, 4 etc etc.
Much like a course in school. Some videos are so over my head, it would be nice if I could start out at the elemetary stuff and work up to my PhD :-)
Thanks David, maybe sometime before I die I will actually make some money in the stock world!!
Rich

Hi Rich,

Thanks for you kind comments I am glad the videos are helping out.

I actually don't have my credentials posted anywhere as I am not looking to be a trading guru but would like to be one member of the InformedTrades community that helps pull everything together. Since you asked however I am not a broker. I didn't go to school for trading my degree is in corporate finance which is sort of one step removed. I picked up trading first on my own trading stocks and then worked for an FX firm for a number of years out of school where I first did sales and service and later ran their managed funds division where we not only raised money but put together our own internal hedge funds.

We are working on organizing the videos a little better but for now if you start with the first lesson which you can find at the link below, each lesson has a next lesson link at the bottom of the video which will take you through the whole series. Although I am not finished yet the videos are meant to take someone from little or no experience to having a solid foundation in the basics of trading so I would start from the beginning and keep going on through.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best Regards,
Dave
