Default Hello

Hi

Being a newcomer to this website, I am learning about the layout of this message board.

I am also a newcomer to trading and I am getting analysis paralysis. I am still going through David's Free Courses and I jumped the queue and went into the Forex Section first. Now I am doing the basic trading.

It would be nice to hear from some of you who may be trading forex as well - it was certainly encouraging to learn the David was or is in forex.

That's it for the time being.

Phyllis

p.s. what does "send trackbacks to" mean?

hi phyllis,

welcome to informedtrades!

i trade forex as well -- primarily eurusd. i honestly think currencies are the best market to trade; it can be a safer market with a great upside if traded properly.

trackbacks are simply a way you can let another site know that you are linking to them, and are talking about the same topic you are talking about. you can pretty much ignore it when you create a new thread here on informedtrades.

Default Hello Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, welcome to the forex trading world... like you, I and I'm sure others have done extensive reading and studying regarding forex and trading in general...analysis paralysis is a good analogy...seems there is a professional opinion to suit anything we want to believe...For me personally, I have traded stocks and options in the past..(with mixed success),but forex is far more interesting to me...high reward potential...and you can limit your losses if you use money management properly...I especially enjoy this site because we can openly discuss trading issues/questions without feeling un-easy...I think the majority of us are here to learn, and luckily for you and me...there are some more experienced traders who are willing to share experiences. Im sure you have visited other sites, so have I...but I feel more comfortable in this one because we acknowledge that we may all be at different experience levels, but we are all on the same team with the same objective...so its good to help each other...could be for a strategy, charting service, broker etc....Anyway..not to be long winded...but wanted to welcome you to the site...hope you learn a lot, and good luck with your future trades....

Default Thanks

Hi Guys

Just want to thank you for all encouraging words. I am so new I have yet to finish all the topics in David's free courses. However, I have opened a demo account so that I can try out stuff that I am picking up.

As I go along, I try to conduct "interviews" when the opportunity arises so when you say you trade eurusd, I assume that this is your pet and there are have second & third priorities in the event that there is no action with eurusd on a particular day. Is this correct mentality?

Tks
phyllis
