Hi Kyle

Dailyfx.com should have it. You could also just look on bloomberg or cnbc as well.
Of course, by closing price, you mean the price at 5pm NY time.

Cheers
Tek

I thought the close time in the Forex market was different from one broker to the next. There is no fixed close in the Forex market. Most people that want to incorporate the close time use 5PM but in the country of the currency. So the close time for GBP/USD should be different than USD/CAD.

There is also this interesting article about the definition of a day :

This might give you new angles to consider.

Finally, if you like Excel then check this procedure:

Since there is always a market open and you can trade a currency even when its particular geographic locale isn't OPEN, there's no real close per sae... You might be referring to when some charts plot their pivots- To that end, all FX times are the same- they just work off different offsets for GMT.

Kyle, I've used MATAF too- it's a great site...

Hey guys,

This may be silly so when does the market close for a daily bar? I am going into daily trading since I have work.

Thanks in advance.
