I recently started receiving my free subscription to SFO magazine -- click here to get your free subscription. I've the found magazine to be actually quite appropriate for technically-driven traders; they have commentary from experienced and successful traders, as well as analysis of time-tested as well as new strategies. As active trading grows, it is this type of publication -- rather than something like the Wall Street Journal -- which I think will prove to be more useful for those participating in public markets. The current issue of SFO magazine, which you can read online at their web site, has a number of interesting articles which I wanted to link to for our community: The Roots of Technical Analysis: Dow Theory Unravel the Great Wall of Asia with Fibonacci Surfing the Waves with Wyckoff Candle Volume Analysis Bollinger Band Users: A New Tool Working Full Time? You Can Trade Part Time! The G20: Problem Solvers or Problem Creators? Interference! Why the Government Should Stay Out of the Markets The article on Wyckoff candle analysis was one I found particularly interesting, doubly so after esteemed InformedTrades member Ektrader told us he relied heavily on the Wyckoff method. If there is interest, we can start a forum here for members to discuss articles in each new issue of SFO magazine. Click here to sign up for your free subscription to the magazine.

Hi Simit
I have been getting SFO for a few months now. I have received 6 or 7 issues so far. They are pretty good. Not sure how long the free subscription lasts (maybe indefinately?) Cheers Tek |

Hi Simit,
I watched Todd Kruegers seminar and I almost thought I was doing the seminar myself. It very was clear to me he is an expert Wyckoff student along with Lance Beggs from "yourtradingcoach.com" I can tell by the way people talk and the way they describe things where they get there information from (or at least the origins). I can always tell who a true Wyckoff student is for sure. (being a student mysef )I know that Elliot Wave followers are the ones that always count waves. Steve Neisen students usually know the name of every candlestick pattern and they use the term pin needle or hammer pattern. Other Examples: Wycoff students call it an "upthrust". John Person students call it a "shooting star". I heard a guy on a post call it a "no-show". I immediately knew that he bought Shoots' course. Just an observation... Ektrader
