just wondering if anyone is subscribed to Tim's alerts and if it's worht it.

from everything i've seen he seems legit as a trader, although i have not tried his signals nor do i know anyone who has. i know he has a profitable track record on covestor.

incidentally we are beginning to test signal providers here on informedtrades, and tim sykes will probably be a provider we test soon. so i guess i'll be able to tell you for sure when we get around to testing his signals!

hey brooklyn,

it's a work in progress; i'm in the process of getting trading accounts funded and we should be testing out one signal, which tek blogged about previously, starting this week. we can probably do tim sykes next, since it's been requested.

had you guys seen a Wall street reality show named "WALL STREET WARRIORS" ?

There appears Tim... I wonder if he was being his real self or he was acting.

anyhow... I enjoyed watching that reality show, they where documenting wall street people every day's life (from hedge fund managers, to day traders, deal makers and so on)

Yea I watched and enjoyed that show as well. It's not a secret Tim is crazy and I don't know how much he was acting but when watching his pennystocking DVDs he said that in the episode with his mom he appeared to be disrespectful to her but he did it on purpose.

hey ... i dont think ive posted yet but this caught my eye ... just like how tim sykes caught my eye at first ... true he has a legit account on covestor and i thought his book An American Hedge Fund was pretty good but i really scoured his website before seeing if i wanted to subscribe. a lot of people comment on his site bashing him for making so much money off of subscribers relative to the small amount of profit he makes on trades. and then these comments are deleted after a couple hours/days and the only thing you see on his site is propaganda by him. i think he is a marketing genius ..but i am undecided about his trading ... if everyone could do what he says why would there be so many haters?
