Default Trading RIMM

I've been trading Rimm now with paper for about 6 mos, and with my real account with 10 shares for a few days, and have a technical question.

I have my IB Workstation set up with hotkeys, so that with a single stroke I can buy and sell. Since RIMM is so volatile, it seems to work well, but what is your experience with this Is it wiser to have a slower system to purchase, or do you purchase with hotkeys? I find it really fast and I love it, but sometimes wonder if I overtrade because of the ease of trades.

Canuck,

If you're making the trades based on a logical reason, the method of execution seems unimportant. Just make sure your cat or dog doesn't jump on the keyboard.

Hey Crazy Canuck,

Glad to hear from you.

I am not in and out of trades quickly so I don't use any sort of hotkey setup but if I felt that the the ability to shave a couple of seconds off of my execution speeds made a difference in my strategy I certainly would do it.

Best Regards,
Dave
