Unfortunately Youtube decided to terminate the InformedTrades channel yesterday without even having the courtesy to send me an email letting me know why, or giving me the opportunity to fix the problem. I just logged on yesterday like many of you and it was gone.
Luckily I have all the video files and am have uploaded to other video hosts so I am in the process of fixing all the broken videos on the InformedTrades site now. While there are plenty of other places to host videos, unfortunately there is no where that has anywhere near the traffic of Youtube, so this is where the InformedTrades community was getting most of its exposure and therefore traffic from.
As they say there is a silver lining in everything, and in this particular case I am going to take this as a sign that I was mistakenly focusing too much attention on YouTube as a source of traffic to build the community with. With this in mind I am currently working on a plan now to diversify our traffic sources so I expect the dip in traffic to be short and for this site to be back on the path to what we all want it to be in the very near future.
With this in mind if anyone has any ideas that they feel should be included in this plan, has a blog that they could make a post to give us some exposure, or simply has some friends that trade that they can tell about the site, that would be much appreciated.
As far as following my videos in the future, right now as you know I am in the middle of the forex course, so each time there is a new video it will be posted on the forex course page of the site:
InformedTrades : Learn Trading. Trading Education. | - Free Forex Trading Course
Or alternatively you can sign up for the RSS Feed of the part of the site where I post all the lessons which is here:

I have emailed YouTube so the plan right now is to wait a few days for a response and then hopefully if they do respond figure out what the issue is so I can have the channel reinstated. If they do not respond then I will try setting up another channel and go from there.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks in advance for everyone's support during what I am confident will be just a bump in the road.
Best Regards,
Dave
