Default Socialist Investing Course

As I've been writing about recently, I think the US has completed crossed the chasm from capitalism to socialism, and thus a different approach to investing and financial markets is needed. In the articles below, I've outlined the strategy I'm using to preserve and grow wealth in the US' centrally planned economy. This strategy has worked well for me over the past few years -- see my trading history.

hi simit,

very good series , i would like to append one not yet mentioned issue anyway:

if the government crisis will continue getting worse and the governments and their budgets collapse (state bankruptcies), it is highly probable that the governments would cure their illness by taking the wealth from their citizens as they already did so many times all over the world ;o(.

what does it mean for individuals? IMHO we should also enjoy our lives, spend some money on fun + happiness because in a real socialist economy there will be much less fun + opportunities anyway ... (at least in my 19 years spent in that time socialist czechoslovakia it was the case) ...

Hi Jaro,

Yes, I think that is a good point. I think folks in Eastern Europe may have a better appreciation for what is going on as they have experienced socialism and its consequences more directly in recent history. In any event, it is always important to enjoy life IMO -- whether you are living in a capitalist, socialist, communist, mercantilist, or whatever type of system they come up with next.
