individual fundamentals criteria

Default individual fundamentals criteria

Hi, thinkin' out loud here. If I were trading now I might have a criteria for how reliable a company's fundamentals need to be no matter how good a technical trigger is. I was thinking, maybe I should limit myself to stocks that Warren Buffett likes. That way, even if I have to stay long longer than I wanted I'm still feelin' pretty good because I'm in good company. What do you think of these strange thoughts?

To be honest mate, those sound more like investing thoughts, than trading thoughts.

Now I invest, as well as trade. (Module 5 on this page) And I love listening to Warren Buffett. That guy gives the best interviews!

But I make sure that before I get involved in a company, I know which I'll be doing. It can be very dangerous to have a trade, turn into an investment. Trades should always be trades, and investments should remain investments (I use a DRIP strategy myself). Since I use DRIP when I invest, I actually enjoy pullbacks in the stocks price, because it means the DRIP plan will better DCA my position.
