LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Volvo was downgraded to sell from neutral and Atlas Copco and Metso were cut to neutral from buy at UBS as part of a note into European engineering stocks. "The key value drivers - trucks and construction equipment - will, in our view, continue to be plagued by disappointing orders,
margin pressure and deteriorating outlook," the broker said of Volvo. Legrand, Volvo, Siemens , Sandvik , SKF , Alfa Laval, Deutz, Demag and Chloride are the broker's least preferred stocks in 2009, while Alstom , MAN, Schindler, Vossloh and Rotork are among most preferred.
