Default Charting software / online broker

Hello Dave,

First of all I would to thank you for giving quality information for newbie traders in your videos.

I am new trader and never invested in reality. I did invested virtually for fun at www.virtualstockexchange. I opened a online broker account at Just2Trade and funded my account with 3000$. The reason I chosen this broker because of low commission. Do u think its a good broker ?

Now I am looking for the free charting software where I can analyze stocks. Please help me to find the free charting software.

There are some stocks that moves 20 to 30 percent in one day. My question is how to point out these stock before opening bell.

Thank you

Hi Intrepid,

Thanks for the comment I am glad you like the site and welcome to the community.

I am not familiar with Just2Trade so I cannot comment one way or another on them. If there is anyone who is I would appreciate it if you could provide some insight here for us.

As far as free charting packages go many brokers will give you access to free realtime charting once you have an account so the first place I would check is with the broker. If they do not have an offering that is to your liking then you can find some additional information on free charting packages at the link below:

As far as knowing which stocks are going to have high volatility before the market opens like anything with trying to predict market movements there is no way to know for sure. Obviously however if news comes out about a company overnight that seriously affects earnings one way or another or things such as this then you are likely to see that stock move pretty dramatically during the day.

If there is anything else on this one from anyone please feel free to post it below.

Best Regards,
Dave
