Default MACD

Hi, dave! I really like your lessons and I have a question about MACD: Why we buy when MACD is below the zero line and sell when is above the line? I remember from the oder lessons that we should do the opposite.

Hi Mista,

Thanks for the comment I am glad you like the site.

As outlined in my lessons on the MACD most traders feel that there are instances where you can buy when the MACD line is below the zero line and sell when it is above. Two examples would be the MACD Crossover and the MACD Divergence both of which are also outlined in that lesson.
