Hi, Dave!
When you look in the chart of some instrument to which part of her you make analysis,
i mean to understand when to make move - the last part or backwards? Why we should look backwards when this is already in the past?
Thank you!

Hi Mista_Kei,

Ok I think I understand better now. The reason why people who believe in technical analysis look at the past is because they feel that the past price action gives insight into whether the buyers or sellers are stronger in the current market. So with this in mind they use past price action as a guide to what may happen in the future.

Hope that helps. If there are any other comments or questions on this one feel free to post them below.

Best,
Dave
