Hello David,
First of all I would like to congratulate you for all the hardwork you have put in to make the short training vdo courses. They are simply great for a novice trader like me. I would like to know your comments/recomendations on purchasing the Omni Trader RT 2008 as a TA software as compared to METASTOCK V10.1. or any other TA s/ware you would recomend. Thanks for all the help. Happy Trading

Hi PALSHQ70,
Thank you for the compliment and welcome to the community, I am glad you like my video courses. I have not personally used Metastock or OMNI Trader but from what I know Metastock is more of a charting package for traders who are looking to chart the market and trade via their own strategies where OMNI Trader is more of a charting package combined with a signal service that helps you make trading decisions. So I think the decision between the two really depends on which you prefer. As far as my preferences, when you open an account with Thinkorswim.com you get access to real time prophet charts free of charge and for basic technical analysis I think this is a fine option. For traders who are looking for a bit more advanced features, then for the money I think Prorealtime offers a very competitive package which includes the ability to write your own trading systems. If you are interesting in trying either of them out then you get access to the charts on a 20 minute delayed basis when you sign up for a free ThinkorSwim demo account, which you can do here. For Prorealtime they give you access to all the features of their package with end of day data free of charge when you sign up for a trial on their website, and there is no payment required to be submitted unless you decide that you want to get the realtime data feeds. Hope that helps. If anyone else has used either OMNI Trader or Metastock I would appreciate you leaving your feedback here. Best Regards, Dave
