Bloomberg: Stocks Fall in Europe, Asia on Economy Concern; Shell, TNT Drop - The MSCI World Index lost 2.5 percent to 927.05 at 12:17 p.m. in London, Europe's Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Index fell 2.8 percent, the MSCI Asia Pacific Index lost 8.4 percent and Futures on the Standard & Poor's 500 Index added 11.4 points, or 1.3 percent, on growing concern bank bailout plans in the U.S. and Europe will fail to avert a global recession.
