LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Conexant Systems Inc. on Tuesday raised its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings guidance, citing lower expenses and better-than-expected margins. The semiconductor company said it now expects core net income of 24 cents to 26 cents a share. It had previously forecast earnings of 13 cents to 17 cents a share. It still expects revenue for the period to be within the forecast range of $120 million to $125 million.
