I'm as new as they come to trading.
After surfing many sites (this one being the best by the way), I've decided the forex market is for me. I want to thank David and the rest of you for sharing so much good information on this site. Now I'm feeling more informed but less prepared than ever to trade. I've gone through all the videos (some twice). I'd like to know if any of you can recommend one of the CD type courses I see all over the internet as a next step to my learning curve (I will check out the recommended books as well but I seem to learn better from the videos). For example, I've watched topdogtrading's preliminary course and liked the way things are explained in it. Another set of videos I've watched are from learntotradethemarket's website, also easy to follow but no course details from them yet. I'm sure there are thousands of training sites and mentors out there but I have no idea who is worthy of taking my money in exchange for the training. The other problem is funds (my funds). I'm going to be a small player in the forex market and I really need to get the best bang for my buck when it comes to training). One thing I do prefer is to see live type trading videos (i.e. a recording at the actual moment the trade was placed, with the reasoning explained as to why this trade, why now, why buy/sell, why trail a stop or not, etc. As a newb, this seems to sink it home more than looking at only past examples of setups and analysis (which I like too but it's just not enough to see it explained without watching someone put it into practice a few times). Thanks, Otiose |

Hi Otiose,
Glad to hear from you and welcome to the community. The best bang for your buck in my opinion would be Ino TV which is a site that has uploaded hundreds of trading DVD's to stream live over the internet. The reason why I like them so much is that in addition to having tons of great content to help you put a strategy together, you only pay either $50 a quarter or $100 a year for access to over 500 videos. You can imagine what it would cost to buy all those videos individually so in my mind thats a great deal. You can see their service as well as all the titles that are included by clicking here. If you do decide to check them out please let me know what you think. Best Regards, Dave

David and Shoot,
Shoot, I just set your videos as a bookmark and will get busy watching them. David, I did see InoTV in my travels but hadn't realized what an opportunity they were. I'm heading there now to take a better look. Many Thanks to you both, Otiose |
